Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the DUFE PhD Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Hold a First Class Honours degree from the UU/DUFE Joint Programme in Accounting or Finance
  • Submit a compelling personal statement outlining their motivation for pursuing a PhD at Ulster University Business School
  • Develop a well-structured 2,000-word research proposal
  • Successfully complete a Skype interview

Application Deadline

The deadline for applications to start the PhD program in January 2025 is September 1, 2024.

Application Process

Interested applicants should submit their completed applications by September 1, 2024, for the January 2025 intake. The selection process includes careful evaluation of academic qualifications, research proposals, and personal statements. Successful candidates will be invited for a Skype interview.
