Dow University to Run Sindh's Medical Entrance Exam After Another University Steps Back

In a surprise move, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) will now handle this year’s big test for getting into medical and dental colleges in Sindh. This happened because Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro (LUMHS) said they couldn’t do it.

Why did LUMHS back out? The head of LUMHS, Dr. Ikramuddin Ujjan, said his son was taking the test this year. He thought it wouldn’t be fair if he was in charge. So, he asked another university to take over.

The Sindh Health Secretary, Rehan Baloch, made it official. This means DUHS will run the test for the third year in a row. The test is for students who want to attend public and private medical schools in Sindh.

At first, people thought other universities might run the test. But in the end, DUHS got picked.

This isn’t the first time there’s been drama about this test in Sindh. Last year, another university had to cancel their test because people thought the questions got leaked. DUHS stepped in to help then too.

So, if you’re hoping to become a doctor in Sindh, get ready! DUHS will be running the test to find the next batch of medical students. Good luck to everyone taking part!
