Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers fully-funded scholarships for international PhD students. These scholarships support outstanding researchers with a $28,600 annual stipend, relocation allowance, and Overseas Student Health Cover.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Edith Cowan University PhD Scholarship, you must meet all the following requirements:

  • English Language Proficiency: Required.
  • Citizenship: Open to all countries.
  • Academic Background:
    • Unconditional offer for a PhD or Integrated PhD research program at ECU.
  • Commencement Date: Must be able to begin studies on campus by October 1st, 2024.
  • Ineligibility:
    • Completed an equivalent PhD in Australia.
    • Received an AusAID or Australia Award scholarship within the last two years.
    • Commenced studies in the Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) J42 program after Semester 1, 2024.
    • Receiving a stipend scholarship exceeding 75% of the base ECU stipend rate.
