Question

How to convert celcius to Fahrenheit

Solution

There are two ways to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit:

Formula

You can use the following formula:

°F = (°C × 9/5) + 32

Here,

°C is the temperature in Celsius * °F is the temperature in Fahrenheit

For example, to convert 20°C to Fahrenheit:

°F = (20°C × 9/5) + 32 °F = (36) + 32 °F = 68°F

Simple Rule

You can use a rule of thumb for an easier approximation:

    • Multiply the Celsius temperature by 9
    • Divide the result by 5
    • Add 32 degrees Fahrenheit
