CSS POLITICAL SCIENCE SYLLABUS -Download PDF

The CSS Political Science paper carries 200 marks total. It is an optional subject with two separate papers. Each paper contains 100 marks.

Candidates must score at least 33% in each paper to pass. The papers test knowledge of political systems and theories.

Paper-I covers:

  • Political theories and ideologies
  • Comparative politics
  • International relations
  • Political institutions
  • Governance systems

Paper-II includes:

  • Pakistan’s political system
  • Constitutional development
  • Foreign policy
  • Current political issues
  • Regional and global politics

The exam requires understanding of political concepts. Candidates must analyze current political situations.
