  • Accommodation: Stay in a university dormitory or receive a housing subsidy.
  • Monthly Living Stipend:
    • Undergraduate students: CNY 2,500
    • Masterโ€™s students/general scholars: CNY 3,000
    • Doctoral students/senior scholars: CNY 3,500
  • Comprehensive Medical Insurance:
    • CNY 800 annually for programs longer than six months.
    • CNY 400 for programs shorter than six months.

This scholarship removes financial barriers, allowing recipients to focus entirely on their studies and personal growth.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the BLCU Chinese Government Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

    Contact BLCU by emailing admissions1@blcu.edu.cn with your required documents. The university will issue a pre-admission notice within 3โ€“5 working days.
  2. Contact Your Local Chinese Embassy/Consulate:
    Reach out to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your home country to get their recommendation for the scholarship.
  3. Complete the Online Application:
    Register and fill out your application on the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System.
  4. Prepare and Upload Required Documents:
    • Academic transcripts and certificates.
    • Study plan or research proposal.
    • Two recommendation letters.
    • Non-criminal record certificate.
