Passing Marks in BISE Kohat Matric Result 2025
To pass the BISE Kohat Matric Exam in 2025, students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 33% marks in each subject (both compulsory and elective). This means a student needs to score at least 33% in every single subject to be declared pass in that subject.
- Practical exams must be cleared separately (if applicable). For subjects that include a practical component (e.g., Science subjects), students must pass both the theoretical and practical parts independently.
- Failing even one subject requires appearing in supplementary exams. If a student fails to achieve a minimum of 33% marks in any single subject, they will be required to reappear in that specific subject’s supplementary examination.
Important Note for 2025: While there have been proposals to increase the minimum passing marks to 40% in Pakistan, this change is slated to take effect from the annual examinations in 2026. Therefore, for the BISE Kohat Matric Exams in 2025, the 33% passing mark remains applicable.
