# Complete Angle-Definition, Representation, And Formation

October 5, 2022 written by Azhar Ejaz

In geometry, an angle is a two-dimensional figure formed by two rays or line segments that share a common endpoint called a vertex. Angles are measured in degrees, with a full rotation around a point measuring 360 degrees. The word “angle” comes from the Latin word “angulus,” meaning “corner.”

There are different types of angles that can be formed by the intersection of two lines or curves on a plane surface.

## What is a Complete Angle?

A full angle, or complete angle, is an angle that measures 360°. Indicating a full turn or rotation around a point, it is represented by the symbol 2π (where π represents a pie).

A complete angle is represented the same way as a zero angle, but there is one difference between the two: the amount of rotation.

## Representation of Complete Angle?

A complete angle can be represented in three different ways:

• By its degrees (°)

It is denoted by 360°  in the Sexagesimal system

It is denoted by 2π   in the Circular system

It is denoted by400g in the Centesimal system

Formation

## Formation of Complete Angle

There are two ways to form a complete angle in a geometric system.

• Complete Angle by a line
• Complete Angle Between Two Line

## Complete Angle by a Line

If we consider a ray AD that is placed at a plane, and the ray AD is rotated to an angle of 360° to reach the same position, another ray AC is created. The angle made by the ray to reach its final position from its initial position is ∠CAD, and the amount of rotation required is 360°. So, ∠CAD = 360° and is a complete angle.

## Complete Angle Between Two Line

When considering two rays FGand FH, it’s important to note that even though they make the same angle, the angle between the two rays actually makes a full rotation. This is written as ∠GFH = 360° since it completes a full circle.

## Complete Angle in Real Life

A circle is a shape in geometry. Anything that is curved and has a center point can be classified as a circle. This includes objects like coins and bangles.

### What is a Complete Angle?

A full rotation starting from 0 degrees and ending at 360 degrees is called a complete angle. This equals 360 degrees in measurement.

### How many right angles make a complete angle?

A right angle is an angle that measures exactly 90°. When four of these angles come together, they create a complete angle.

### How Does a Complete Angle Look?

A complete angle is a full circle with a 360-degree rotation. It covers the entire rotation and starts and ends at the same point.
