CSS Accountancy & Auditing SYLLABUS -Download PDF

The CSS Accountancy & Auditing paper carries 100 marks. It consists of two separate papers. Both papers are compulsory for candidates choosing this subject.

Each paper requires a minimum of 33% marks to pass. The papers test basic accounting concepts and auditing principles. They also cover Pakistan’s current economic situation.

Paper-I focuses on:

• Financial accounting concepts
• Preparation of financial statements
• Accounting standards
• Company accounts
• Budgeting techniques

Paper-II covers:

• Auditing principles and practices
• Internal control systems
• Professional ethics
• Recent developments in auditing
• Pakistan’s economic policies

Candidates must understand accounting standards and procedures. Practical knowledge of bookkeeping helps in solving numerical problems.
