Offered Programs

Government College University Lahore offers Intermediate (F.Sc) programs for male students in the evening session. These programs include:

  • Intermediate (F.Sc) in Pre-Engineering
  • Intermediate (F.Sc) in Pre-Medical
  • Intermediate (F.Sc) in Computer Science

Important Dates

The application deadline for the second shift program is June 28th, 2024. Unlike the morning session, there is no separate entry test for the evening program. Selection will be based solely on the applicant’s Grade-IX results from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).

Admission Requirements

  • Candidates who have passed their 9th class (with a minimum of 60% marks) in the year 2023 and appeared in the annual exam of the 10th class in the year 2024 are eligible to apply.
  • Students who have already passed their matriculation examination can apply, provided they are not registered for or have appeared in the Intermediate Part-1 exams at any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
  • Candidates, after securing admission, must qualify for their 10th class in the 1st annual exam of 2024. Failing to do so will result in the cancellation of admission and non-refund of fees.
  • O’Level/Equivalent students are eligible for provisional admission but must submit their complete results (8 subjects as per IBCC Rules) for confirmation of admission.

Ineligibility Conditions

  • Students who appear in the combined exams OR 9th and 10th in 2024 are ineligible.
  • Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects in the 9th class are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who passed their SSC in the Supplementary Examination of 2019 or earlier are ineligible.
  • Applicants who have passed SSC (Tech) are not eligible for admission.

Application Process

  1. Apply ONLINE for registration and generate the challan form.
  2. Deposit the processing fee of Rs. 1000/- in any branch of UBL across Pakistan through the challan from June 13, 2024, to June 28, 2024. Payment through UBL Mobile App/Omni is not acceptable.
  3. A hard copy/printout of the Admission Form is not required to be submitted. Original documents, along with one set of photocopies, will be required only for shortlisted candidates for the interview.
  4. Submit separate Admission Forms ONLINE for each program.
