PhD Applicants

  • International students who earned their university entrance qualification outside Germany.
  • Proof of admission to doctoral studies at a state or state-recognized university (preferably in Germany).
  • Preliminary doctoral work must be completed by the application deadline, with a valid timetable for completion.
  • PhD subject aligned with the foundation’s focal points is prioritized.
  • German language proficiency: Level B2 or DSH 2 (with certificate).
