1: Nationality
- Be a citizen of a World Bank member developing country.
- Applicants with dual citizenship in a developed country are ineligible.
- Academic Background:

2. Work Experience
- Have at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a development-related field.
- Experience must be recent, obtained within the past six years.

- Be in good health.

Exclusions
- Employees, relatives of World Bank Group staff, and previous scholarship recipients who declined the award or did not complete the program are not eligible.
