Who can apply?

- English Language: You must be proficient in English as the fellowship program will be in English.
- UBC PhD: You cannot have completed your PhD studies at any UBC campus.
- Recent PhD: You must have finished all your PhD requirements within the past 24 months of your desired fellowship start date.
- Faculty Position: You cannot currently hold a permanent faculty position (tenure-track or continuing) at a university or college. Temporary, term, or non-tenure track appointments are still eligible.
How to Apply?
The application process for the Killam Fellowship involves obtaining official verification of your academic records. Here’s what you need to do:
- Gather Academic Records: Make copies of your original transcripts and diplomas.
- University Verification:
- Send the copies to your degree-granting institution (home university).
- Request your university to:
- Verify the copies are true representations of your academic record.
- Stamp the copies with an official university seal.
- Place the verified and stamped copies in sealed envelopes endorsed by the Registrar.
- Submission:
