Who discovered exams?
Solution
The concept of exams has a very long history. Therefore, attributing its invention to a single person is difficult.
- Early Exams: The earliest documented exams for government positions date back to the Imperial Examination system in China, that was established around 605 AD.
- Standardized Testing: The concept of standardized exams with consistent questions and scoring was discovered by American businessman Henry Fischel in the late 19th century.
