  • Energizing Canada International Entrance Scholarship:

    • Based on academic merit and financial need.
    • Must have graduated from a recognized high school in China (including Hong Kong and Macau).
    • Preference given to students entering specific programs (Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Health Sciences, or Bachelor of Arts – Urban Studies).
  • University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship:
    • Offered to students entering first year in any undergraduate program.
    • Renewable for subsequent years with a minimum GPA of 2.60 on a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms, and continued payment of international differential tuition fees.
    • Open to international students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents and are required to pay differential fees.
    • Based on academic merit.

How to Apply

The application process involves two steps:

Step 1: Apply to your chosen undergraduate program at the University of Calgary

  1. Create a UCalgary eID.
  2. Use the application guide provided by the university.
  3. Submit your application and pay the $145 application fee.
  4. The University of Calgary will inform you through your Calgary Student Center on how and where to submit any required documents.

Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship

  1. Access your Student Center in your myUofC portal.
  2. Click on the “My Financials” page.
  3. In the Awards & Scholarships section, click on “Apply for Undergraduate Awards” (ensure pop-ups are enabled).
  4. A pop-up window will display open or recently closed scholarship applications. Pay attention to application deadlines.
