UET Taxila is inviting applications for undergraduate programs for the Fall 2024 session. The University of Engineering and Technology Taxila has opened admissions for various engineering and computer science programs.

Eligibility Criteria

For Group 01 (Engineering Programs)

  • HSSC or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
  • DAE in relevant technology from PBTE Lahore
  • Minimum 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent
  • Must pass ECAT conducted by UET Lahore or any other designated engineering programs entry test acceptable to PEC and UET Taxila

For Group 02 (Computer Science)

    • Any combination in HSSC with Mathematics
    • HSSC (Pre-Medical)
    • DAE in relevant technology from PBTE Lahore
    • Minimum 50% marks in HSSC or equivalent
    • Entry test is not required

    Note: Applicants with Punjab domicile are eligible. However, seats for Overseas Pakistanis (X category), partially subsidized seats (S category), and leftover seats of open merit (Punjab) are available on an all-Pakistan basis.

    Admission Process

    1. Online application submission starts on June 10, 2024 (Monday)
    2. Hifz-e-Quran Test (if applicable) on July 06, 2024 (Saturday) at 9:30 AM
    3. Display of 1st Merit List on July 08, 2024 (Monday)
    4. Start of first semester classes on August 19, 2024 (Monday)

    How to Apply

    1. Download the UG Prospectus from the UET Taxila website (admissions.uettaxila.edu.pk)
    2. Pay the application processing fee of Rs. 2050/- through HBL digital banking.
    3. Fill out the online application form (F-1) on the university admission portal
    4. If applying for both Group 01 and Group 02, submit separate application forms with separate processing fees
    5. Regularly check your “My UET” account for updates and announcements
