Punjab Expands Honhaar Scholarship Program Nationwide
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expands the Honhaar Scholarship Program to all provinces. The initiative now includes students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The goal is to provide financial support to talented students pursuing higher education.
The number of laptops under the scheme has increased to 110,000. CM Maryam Nawaz emphasizes the importance of digital access for students. She states that every student deserves a laptop and that the government must ensure equal access to technology.
Students meeting the merit criteria will have their tuition fees covered. The government wants to eliminate financial barriers to education. A dedicated helpline will be set up to assist students with scholarship and laptop distribution inquiries.
Students need at least 65% marks to qualify for a laptop. The government focuses on rewarding academic excellence and ensuring deserving students benefit from the program.
CM Maryam Nawaz reaffirms her commitment to education and youth empowerment. She states that the program aims to transform the future of students across Pakistan. The expansion of the Honhaar Scholarship Program ensures equal academic opportunities for all.
