When Are Matric Exams in 2026?
Matric (Class 9 & 10) Exams will start on March 3, 2026.
This is the confirmed date from the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Students now have several months to prepare properly for their exams.
CHANGE IN EXAM DATES IS EXPECTED.
The education department is thinking about moving some exam dates to after Ramadan and Eid. Because students who observe fasting during Ramadan find it challenging to study and take exams at the same time.
Right now, March 3, 2026, is the official start date. If the government makes any changes, it will announce them formally. Keep watching for updates.
Important Change Class 9th & 10th Board Practical Exam
Here’s a big change for 2026:
- Practical exams will now happen BEFORE written exams.
- All practical exams will be conducted in early to late February 2026
Written exams will begin in March as scheduled.
