The key difference between Natural and Whole numbers is, Natural numbers include all positive integers from 1 to N, where N can be any positive integer. If we include 0 in the set of natural numbers, then the resulting set is called whole numbers.

## 10 Differences between Natural and Whole Numbers

1. Natural numbers are a set of positive integers starting from 1 and going infinitely upwards.
2.  Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…
3. Â Whole numbers are a set of natural numbers and zero.
4.  Example: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4…
5.           The notation used to represent natural numbers is the letter “N”.
6. The letter “W” is used to represent whole numbers.
7. Natural numbers start from 1.
8. Whole Numbers start from 0
9. It can be said that all natural numbers are also considered as whole numbers.
10. It can be said that not all whole numbers are considered natural numbers
