Here are the main parts of flower:
- Pistil: The female reproductive organ in the center of the flower.
- Stigma: The sticky tip of the pistil, where pollen grains land.
- Style: The stalk-like structure that connects the stigma to the ovary.
- Ovary: The basal part of the pistil, containing ovules (future seeds).
- Stamens: The male reproductive organs, surrounding the pistil.
- Anther: The sac-like structure at the top of the stamen, containing pollen grains.
- Filament: The stalk-like structure that supports the anther.
- Petals: The brightly colored or showy structures that attract pollinators.
- Sepals: The green, leaf-like structures that enclose the flower bud and protect the developing flower.
- Pedicel: The stalk that connects the flower to the stem.
