What is World Wide Web (WWW)?

WWW is short for World Wide Web and is the Internet’s primary method of sharing information. It was developed at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) in Switzerland and became commercially available in 1990.

The web is a vast network of computers connected together via a system of communications protocols called TCP/IP.

The World Wide Web is a series of interconnected Internet websites. These sites contain hyperlinks to other websites. They are designed to make it easier to navigate through information.
